Here's a glimpse of the upcoming Straight Skirt LP available for pre-order soon. Straight Skirt were ironed out of the wrinkly remnants of Crimplene, a band that was a part of the Northern Territory's 90s pop vignette that eventually hazed over. The band started in Darwin in 2008 with Zeb (Matrimony, K5), Rod, Gretchen and Bill Searle on guitar. They played some shows at Happy Yess and broke up in 2011 when Zeb left town. In the summer of 2019 they got together in Castlemaine, unfortunately without Bill, but with Finn Williams (Double Dinghy, Gorsha) on guitar, went into Sound Recordings and recorded this track for the upcoming album.
